MANFREDONIA 

(poetry)

 

  Postcard sent from far away

 embraced by ancient walls and harbors,

of noble origins, migratory in nature,

but always welcoming mother ...

you let your children go away

and then, as a fisherman,

   throw the nets of your beauty

 and memories

 to melt their hearts

and return them to you.
