In data 25 e 26 maggio 2012 presso la sede della Lega Navale di Manfredonia la cittadinanza è stata invitata ad un singolare appuntamento per il rilascio di alcuni esemplari di tartarughe "Caretta Caretta", che è potuto avvenire grazie al lavoro del Centro di Recupero "Tartanet" di Legambiente. 

Le tartarughe,  che erano state preventivamente curate e ospitate presso il loro centro presso il "Lago Salso", hanno finalmente ritrovato il loro habitat naturale anche grazie ai mezzi messi a disposizione dalle istituzioni locali e all'impegno di alcuni armatori e sub di Manfredonia.

On 25 and 26 May 2012 at the seat of the Navy League of Manfredonia  citizenship has been invited to an unusual event for the release of some of some tartles "Caretta Caretta", which could be due to work of the Center for Recovery "Tartanet" of Legambiente.

The tartles, which had been previously cured and housed  at their centre at "Lago Salso", have finally found again their natural habitat also thanks to the means made available by local institution and to the shipowners and divers of Manfredonia.
